Amanda Seyfried began acting on the soap operas As the World Turns and All My Children before landing her big break as a member of The Plastics in 2004's Mean Girls. From 2006 to 2011, she portrayed Sarah Henrickson on the HBO series Big Love. During that time, Seyfried also starred in the movie musical Mamma Mia! and in the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Dear John. In 2012, she starred as Cosette in the Oscar-winning musical Les Misérables. More recently, Seyfried starred on the Twin Peaks reboot in 2017. She next reprises the role of Sophie in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
